Thursday July 31st, 2014 @ 7pm CDT – “Salvage Mining Your Way to a New Career” Live Webinar
On Saturday January 18th, 2014 Tiny Texas Houses will be hosting an online webinar discussing the art of salvage mining. Last year Tiny Texas Houses released a full length video tutorial series called “The Salvage Mining Tutorial Series” in which salvaging and re-purposing was explained in-depth. This webinar will expound upon the many subjects covered in our tutorial series and you’ll have the opportunity to ask your questions to Brad Kittel (owner of Tiny Texas Houses) and the Tiny Texas Team. Subjects this webinar will cover include: How to identify salvageable materials, how to obtain salvage rights, how to store and transport materials, and much more. Brad Kittel will be giving live examples of wood species and salvaged materials that he has re-purposed and used in his Tiny Texas House designs. This webinar is part I of a two part series. The next webinar will be on Sunday January 19th, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 and will discuss building practices with salvage and Tiny House Designs.
In this webinar Tiny Texas Houses will be discussing how to use salvaged materials and how it can relate to the design process of a tiny house. Tiny Texas Houses has been building tiny homes out of 99% pure salvage for over 6 years now. In this webinar, we will be discussing how our tiny houses are designed around salvage and how you can do-it-yourself. We will be utilizing the Cowboy Cabin 3D Modeling program to explain how our tiny houses are designed and why.
