Thinking of things to do while the rain is pouring down on Memorial Day weekend, not that it is clear it will be raining through it all? How about visiting the biggest inventory sale for incredible architectural treasures, lumber, and parts to build small houses, or big mansions, and have a home to be proud of when finished.

For those who were not aware of Tiny Texas Houses and Discovery Architectural Antiques, both started by Brad W. Kittel in the 1990s, and in 2007, when Tiny Texas Houses was formed with the massive inventories from the largest architectural warehouses in Texas.

All of the warehouses have been mothballed for ten years now. However, many of them will be emptied now as I am retiring from this business, still with hopes someone else will buy into it and continue onward with my ethos of All-American materials, no plastic, vinyl, or chemicals to inhale like new houses all have. This is my dream; I hoped to offer a generation, but I have run out of time and now must shut it all down if the heirs to this do not show up soon. When my son passed on to the next life early, he left me with no heirs. To that end, I pray that God provides the people to finish what I started, but if it is not His will, it will not happen. So it goes.

What will you do to carry on the ethos of Pure Salvage Building?

I created this acres-wide pond that was thirty feet deep in my early 60s, after losing my son. I just did as I was directed by a higher authority to prove I believed the prophecy that this is what I would see if I dug deep, focused, and had faith. Miracles happen all the time, but few recognize them.

Check out the posts with pictures, and if you wish, I will craft a plan for the parts you pick so as to create an incredible space for your getaway She-shack or Man-cave.

Changing the paradigm requires creating examples, but also a public desire for it to succeed!

2008 was a transformative time for me… the creation of Tiny Texas Houses and the beginning of a path that would eventually lead to creating Salvage, Texas, from my ethos based on the best of our past resources being saved, used once more to create the best housing in America.

Tiny was my best way to show in the smallest package, the value of the Jewelry Box Home that could be portable and habitable, taxable in an advantageous way that would allow you to hand it off like an heirloom to your children or grandchildren, much as many of the houses had gone through before we finally salvaged them after 150 years of life.

Homestead can become homesteads again for the masses who do not want a trailer to live in made of materials that doghouse should not be made out of, let alone human housing for sake of all the toxins in the materials used as well as the fact that they are new, adding to the trash, transport, and forced to use due to code written by the manufacturers and required by law. The process has made the builders and buyers of homes victims of a system that is intended to keep you buying materials for maintenance, replacement every 7-10 years, and other traps that modern housing has built into it. While the houses are going up in cost, the value is not as they are limited life disposable homes for the most part.

Sad to see the masses fall for trailers on Wheels (RVs) passed off as houses at high costs for trailers with tires that will rot with the houses sitting on them, but faster than the time it takes to pay off the loans. I wonder at the success of the marketing by big media controlled by advertisers, and others that convince so many that they can live in toxic boxes without enough clean air being exchanged to stay healthy, yet no mention of that anywhere in the industry.

Still, the intention was to show that tiny organic toxin / import-free housing is possible with salvage, American labor, very little environmental damage, and energy cost to build. Paramount was to demonstrate that you can do it locally if you all get together and support Pure Salvage Outposts to teach, build, gather the materials donated by locals, and the wisdom of the craftsman retiring who could teach the few kids who do want to know how to build. Please help where it is needed, locally.

More could be building these houses all over the USA, and trust me, now, many want them. I never understood when I started and thought that many would copy, why no one really took the effort to do it right… Copy my research and methods, please… they were meant to show everyone how to do it, not to do one for everyone who wanted one cheaper than anyone who did not love doing it could build them for.

The profit-driven alternatives, faster, cheaper, toxins-be-damned attitude that took over the industry of tiny housing is disgusting for its lack of attention to the financial and human health of buyers over the decade after purchase.

Can you see the changes in the look from one owner to another? It was in Bastrop on the Colorado River and then moved to West Point, Texas, on a 23-acre setting. That is the beauty of a portable house, not the ugly trailer and narrow size that is not good for decorating or feeling like this makes you feel.

Some things are very hard to duplicate todayโ€ฆ especially great stained glass.

So many traps and so few speaking out as the fan club for Tiny Houses on Wheels was touted by all the major networks and pushed into the realm of a monstrous following. Next in this cycle of sale to grave come the consequences, and they have been many but as yet, not getting a lot of attention: health, transport, parking, maintaining tires, etc., will all need to be factored into the big picture before this story can be fully told. Will anyone want to tell it? Not if they were part of making it all happen. They will be gone.

Some know, have paid the price of health, wealth, and the frustration of not being able to find a place to put the giant expensive homes. Time will tell the story, but I always like to put the house on piers and use the trailers that cost megabucks to do other things until needed to move again. Oh wellโ€ฆ one can show the path, offer it to all the sheep that pass as they are led to the cliffs by the shepherds who claim to be leading them, but in fact only to their death.

Sheep do not ask where they are being led to, shearing or slaughter. They simply follow the tail in front of them, ever questioning and savoring being part of the crowd that shares all their ailments and pains in common. None will know there was a better path unless they get near the fringe of the flock and see the trees, forests, and waters beyond. Instead, they are too busy looking at the ground for the grass or the butt of another sheep to know where to go next. Pity.

Who chooses to bear a cross in a society that tends to attack those who do? What cross do you carry?

Our belief systems, God, and path that Wii are assigned in our gifted lifetime are personal, individual; a job assigned to you, no one else. Will you step up to carry your cross, do your job?

MAY 18, 2026

I bear my cross with a smile, despite the slivers, the weight, or the place it may be planted; I will carry it with pride, having been given the chance to carry a message that will benefit many when I am gone.

How many of us find our cross to bear and choose to carry it, regardless of the consequences, the attacks, the ugliness of the society that it must be carried by to get to the destination, the point at which the world will pay attention, change direction, and create a better place for those who follow us?

Windows, doors, tubs, trim, siding, 1×12, and so much more to create a home.

I gathered the materials, created a path, and a way to create housing for the many in need. Will the people do the right thing and create the solutions using no more than human energy and imagination? I wonder as I set about disbursing the massive inventory it will take to launch a perspective in housing, helping build your home to offset the cost, to help others create a home for life, too.

Windows to view the storms from a safe home, to see the opportunity, and wake up, go outside, and create a home for you or others who need it.

https://tinytexashouses.substack.com/publish/post/36382823

What are you doing to make the world a better place for others, not just the ones you know and love, but the masses that also need to be assisted, if Wii, the many that can see the need, and do the work to make the world a better place?

Why not use the best parts from our past to create an incredible, sustainable, and healthy home?
I am liquidating the bulk of the inventories that have been stashed away for these times. Now you can escape the toxic building materials syndrome that is destroying the health of the people who live in them, ignorant of the damage being done to their bodies. There is only one body for us to live in for life, a vessel that can easily be destroyed, broken, painful, and turning life into a living Hell for those who make the mistake of believing the manufacturer has any concern whatsoever for the buyers of their toxin filled tiny houses on wheels, RVs, and other forms of housing that people have resorted to as the cost of standard housing becomes prohibitive for 30% of the population in America. What comes next if people do not consider the least expensive, best quality materials left on the planet, the salvage from past construction that is far superior to the product offered in big box stores today?

June will be the next round of liquidation sales, thinning down from 300 housesโ€™ worth of materials to a few dozen to maybe build before the end of the year, if people want to learn how in seminars through the summer and fall, after which there may not be any Tiny Texas Houses anymore if there are not some others who come to carry on. Are you one of the builders of the future who knows how to build houses that will last for a century? Healthy, all-American parts, labor, and a lifetime of housing our children, and theirs.

What do you have planned for 2026? Why not create homes, solutions, and a future for others that will be appreciated until those who live there pass on? This gift will give their home decades for their loved ones, once they are gone. Such is the life of a quality home, instead of the disposable form that homes come in now. You will make a difference in a life that will pay forward for generations. Are you willing to do what it takes to help make the world a better place? Will you carry a cross and sacrifice for the benefit of thousands?

Last chance to get a bunch of materials, enough to build your tiny home at prices even Home Depot can not compete with.

If you compare the Sears Catalog from 1910 to 1929 & you will see a big jump in the costs, but nothing compared to now. Shocked?

You might see prices like this in the upcoming liquidation sales at the largest warehouses of their kind in Texas. After decades in mothballs, collections of hard-to-find lumber, windows, and doors, as well as stunning trim, hardware, and glass, are nearly all going to be sold by July 4th, when the second warehouse sale comes to its climax and ends.

If I could find the wood to build such doors and have a $5-10 profit margin each, what would the labor cost be? On this day of 1910, one could work 6 – 10 to 12-hour days a week every week, rarely a vacation, and only a few holidays. The dollar bought a day’s work from a man who was skilled, but less if not.

If the parts are here to create quality, it is clear that true craftsmen and artists will use them if they can afford them. Now, for a brief moment, the most amazing stuff ever collected is being made available to the public to build many tiny houses across the USA. Come with the trailer, a list, and a plan to carry stuff off to the houses again.

What does that translate into for a modern house in 2026? $2,000-$3,000 sounds like a lot, but it buys imported, modern copies that do not last a lifetime. Why not get the real, good stuff at the liquidation sale? Remodel your classic Sears cottage with classic parts or build a house from scratch with them.

Otherwise, you can find lower-quality plastic or veneer at big-box stores that lack longevity, are imported, outgas, and are likely built to last for 15 years or less. That is what the system offers at big-box stores and is used to build houses today.

Who knows? On the last day of the sale in Gonzales, Texas, Memorial Day Weekend could be the time to see some doors, window sashes, and more go for prices no one has seen in at least 50 years.

Have you ever seen the Sears Catalog Houses w/ one page loan application?

Incredible prices for houses, big and small, but you can still get what you need at incredibly low prices at the upcoming sale. True, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, with designs so easy to use and see results with the same windows, doors, and parts that were of superb quality back in the day of Quality in American products.

One need not use the older designs, but the windows and doors will work fine for any sort of modern art home you could build; you can use these parts to make it last a lifetime for you, too.

Look at the doors and windows, at the trim, and even more, the quality of the hardware, and the other things you see are still on houses used today. It’s been over a hundred years since they were shipped and built by men and women, all communities that worked together to become towns with homes for one and all.

You will never see more for sale than this liquidation of the two warehouses, which will take two months to complete. People will have the chance to get the most in the first sales at the College St. warehouse as they will when the sales move out to the location at 333 Salvage Way where hardware, stained glass, and other more precious things will be sold along with the tools, fasteners, and other things necessary to create a couple of Pure Salvage Outposts in other places to continue building with parts lfrom here and more that will come if you do.

I will be assembling a few packages of windows and doors that will allow people to recreate the houses shown in the pictures above. This is the chance for many to benefit and grow their dreams into real houses. I hope you will join us for one of the weekends and have a chance to win one of the door-and-window packages that will be a door prize for participants in the biggest Salvage & Architectural Antiques liquidation sales ever.

Imagine how easy it was to get a loan for a package then.

If you fill one out and want a loan for a year, up to five years on a package of materials, not as big as these were, but good to help you get your home built for sure, let me know by sending it to us at Darbypsl@gmail.com as we may offer a few loan packages if good people who can do that apply.

For the discounts and special notices, consider becoming a member and also subscribing to Substack. Thanks for sharing, too.

Liquidation Sale notes and link to a video on the Memorial Day Weekend Salvage Sale UPDATE!

I have not found a way to post a video on this website, but I can surely link to it on YouTube, also known as Tiny Texas Houses.

What would you create if you were to have a choice.?

Videos about the Liquidation Sales, as well as some opportunities for tours, before big sale buys, and a chance to open a Pure Salvage Outpost with some of the vast resources that will be parted out over the next few months.

Please consider sharing and viewing if you have any interest in building a home from All-American parts and pieces, such as windows, doors, and trim, from a time when our ancestors had great virgin resources that created the best of homes. Sustainable living means using the best of our past, still good for a hundred more years of life as a home, rather than buying new stuff that will not last a decade.

Buy a home for life instead of giving your life for a home that dissolves and becomes a maintenance nightmare. Buyers should always beware of modern construction and learn before they burn away their health. That is not a path that you can return from easily once done. Your home is your castle, not a coffin if you buy the right one.

Hope to see you get the parts and pieces to create a community of tiny and small houses that work together to create a homestead instead of a McMansion or two, and pave the rest or put grass on the rest of the land.

Blessings to your Memorial Day celebrations, perhaps aggregations of the materials that respect the work of the ancestors who supported the boys in the war by working in the places these parts were being built between and during the World Wars for the Veterans Home loans of the times. Yes, time repeats with an amazing accuracy that can not be ignored. Never forget or throw away the best parts of our past that will take us to a better future.

Don’t wait to find #Youthing techniques that insure you will be jab-free healthy.

At 70 I have seen what hard living does to age the body, and the path to getting #Youthful naturally again. Now I pray the kids who see will do it earlier instead of always getting jabs for cures.

Our fascia carries electricity that you can understand and see when structural water forms, expands, and becomes human energy that you can feel come from within. Where does that command of power over light traveling down circuitry so fine that it went relatively unnoticed for decades come from? It is now known as an organ that is vital to the functioning of our body. It is a critical part of what enables the 70% water in the muscle to lift great weight or do great things. #Youthing hinges on understanding some of the physics behind the shape you take, the body you form as you age with the intention of staying #Youthful along the way.

It is not H2O as you see coming from the tap or bottled water. Blood is made of a different version of structural water that can be activated from gel to near solid with a current provided by the Source of Power. Is that the heart, brain, or a Spiritual force inside the body? Where does the command come to go from gelatinous to hard come from?

Most believe is the water they perceive when they see what they think is blood in you or me. Mii, on the other hand, the one inside the skin that guides the flesh and H3O2, called our blood, that carries sunlight to our body, empowers it with form through the mitochondria that carry the energy with Melatonin for motion and for joy.

ATP creates the energy, but the fascia is the network that links us up, though many can not see, but feel what it emanates, our aura once itโ€™s Frii. Then it reaches far beyond the limits most perceive and lets our prayers be answered when Wii pray for others to be freed. Wii synchronize the neurons and the synapses to make sure that Wii are awakened when our promised time comes. What do you see in your mindโ€™s eye or the mirror where you spy who you appear to be, the โ€œmeโ€ that others think they see?

You are only that shape for a time, changing, a new body every 7 years, better every cycle if you treat your vessel right. In your mindโ€™s eye, you can plan and shape your body with time and exercise, yes, to create a healthy shape and size. Wii determine what Wii can be if Wii are Frii, to be Mii when Iโ€™m awake, body and Spirit in One shell. Not the cartilage or brain alone, but the body as a salt-water battery with the energy it stores, muscles to move blood, and a vortex of the heart to hold the power of the universe, for whatever life is worth. Treat thy vessel as the gift that heals quite naturally by using the Water of Life and keeping our minds free.

How do Wii keep our balance or win it back once it is gone? By practicing what you can not do so as to learn how, in the end, when you get to see the results that you never thought you had a hope would someday be Mii.

Darby

Donโ€™t give up the power to individuate, to express the Spirit that resides within the bones and through the flesh. Human energy can be so powerful and true if Wii use it for the missions that Wii came to life now to ensure. Use your powers and the timing, the chance to see and learn, so that when your turn to be a hero comes, you will be ready, strong, and sure. Use the Chi, the Prana, the Source Power drawn from Mother Earth, combined with the charges in the air, and you can soon aid a world in grief. Now is the time to rise and aid your fellow human beings, as well as all the other beings that will soon be seeking healthy food.

If grounded, able to sense how the planet comes to change, and soon will provide energy that changes one and all. Some who sense the Schumann frequencies, who also feel the charge from the sunburst and the filaments that are rushing to us in these days. The comet that is passing by will bring to Light so many ties to the past and the future that must come, but the victory will surprise more than some, but not those with faith and who know the power of One. It doesnโ€™t take much to change, but time is running faster now.

At 49, I could not see what lay ahead for Mii. I thought I could do nearly anything, but soon after, I learned itโ€™s our destiny that brings us change, and nothing Wii can do will stop it from coming when it should. How do Wii transition from each phase of our lives except by jetisoning anchors that will hold us back from living a full life? What dreams Wii have as children can be meant to come true when Wii grow up to see there was a fate for which Wii had to leave our past behind. Savor the dayz. Change comes as it was planned and with faith Wii come to understand the reasons why Wii suffer yet sustain, stronger for what follows in our lives.

My best fun came while playing in the dirt after 63 years old. Make an impression that few can easily eraseโ€ฆ and thus instructed, so I did! You see what happened when Darby went in Sany and understand what 3,000 hours in the cab of big boy toys can do, solo. Fun times during the transition, the time in my cocoon, there I got to metamorphose, fly out fully renewed for another life and cycle, flying high into the clouds. None of this is possible, a fantasy indeed, but one that I enjoy living as I too get to see what is possible. Who knew?

https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/Hp31h_a6Wbg?start=74s&rel=0&autoplay=0&showinfo=0&enablejsapi=0

None of what I dreamt of happened, but the transformation and watching wildlife return, beavers, otters, fish, birds, turtles, and so much more all the way up to the Red Wolf, rare as it is, and big cats that pass through. Life is dependent on water, sunshine, and a little bit of help, it becomes a paradise without man to interfer after that.

So I would advise you to get moving and find many ways to practice #Youthing while you are young, instead of waiting half a century. I started at 55, but by 58, I had made a few videos showing how to do it on a mat. Hope it works for you. Donโ€™t try to do it all on the first day cause what you see saved my broken body and brought a pain-free life to Mii. Not the me I grew up with, crippled from youth to 55.

Darby is practicing Wii Gong at 62, a form of working out the body, mind, and more, gaining balance and the sight to see the energy I did not know could be in Mii. I was truly Frii, powered by the Wubtron, a word for the โ€œIโ€ within that powers and then operates the body that I am in. Who knew this could be possible when I was just a kid? No one showed or told Mii so I did not find the path to this fitness without much effort once Wii find our center and our bliss.

That does not mean Wii are not humans, Beings that still have flaws, but our perspective is the key to going forth when Wii hear the call and fulfill the great missions that Wii came to live and breathe. Life is what you make it when you choose to finally be the Being that God meant for you when conceived of in a plan that is greater than the ability to be seen by any man.

At 70, I, too, need to practice a few days a week again, as I seem to have gotten too attached to this dang screen I am standing in front of somehow. I nearly have my workout space set up with Pink Granite for the floor, and a view of the sunrise and the shade at sunset, except on some special days. Maybe, by the pond and crystals, I can film and share the ways that Wii can master our body and recover, best of all, to never suffer long because you can heal so fast for life. Please let Mii know if you decide to try some of the techniques I will soon be practicing for extending this #youthing period for as long as I can.

Dropping my anchor, my business, my things, so that I can move on forward with my writing again. Savor the dayz kids, those under 50 I mean, for the things you may see if you resist the jabs and revolt is the strangest of worlds that very few thought could come true. Soon, it will be apparent that there is so much to do to expose the dangers and then haul the criminals into tribunals that ensure they are wiped out.

Profiting from wars and killing millions for the land, nothing that is going on should be allowed to continue; my friends and I are about to make it clear that this must come to an end. Prayers to those who see the problems and stop them before they rise to obliterate all the things so great about the rest of our world. Let us try to form peaceful communities by using the best of our American past, both human energy and resources that are trapped in the structures all around people who live in parts that have materials ready to be harvested, jobs, houses to be built, without global corporations or banks. Freedom means being Frii, Wii, all the โ€œIโ€s that see what must happen to be healthy, stay youthful, and free to the best you can be, naturally.

The biggest Architectural Antiques & Materials Warehouse Liquidation Sale. Memorial Day Weekend Opportunity!

Yes! Clearing out the entire warehouse at 1020 North College, in Gonzales, Texas. See it on Google Earth, it is that big.

The time: Three main weekends: May, 9-10, then again, but bigger for May 16-18th, & finally over 2026 Memorial Day Weekend to pack it away forever.

Yes, this marks the end of an era, a legend, a myth, someday when the internet erases it from memory if they get to own the Wayback Machine. Come to the sale and carry on the ethos of building sustainably with salvaged treasures. These will never be built again.

No imports. No plastic. NO vinyl. All American-made by our ancestors in an age of many resources and lumber barons all around, with enslaved conscripted laborers who could not earn a living wage.

Except by appointment: Only certain areas will be open to the public for the first sale.
This is a sampling of the portions that will be open to the public for the first sale.

Now is a chance to honor and respect their efforts to create a source of what it takes to build import-free homes that last for centuries, not just decades. Come, see, and buy at incredibly low prices compared to big-box stores, but get much more.

Making Memories for someone you love. That will be when people can carry away the parts they need to build tiny, small, or medium-sized homes, just like you would once see coming on the trains. These parts were for kit houses from Sears and Roebuck, delivered in pre-cut packages for assembly.

The windows, doors, and so much more are still incredibly strong, sustainable to the highest degree, and can be reused to rebuild today.

But there are some classics worth repeating.
Nothing says you have to make your parts look like the originals…

Nothing imported, no trees cut, no glass made to create a house. This is what I offered and taught many who still use the salvage all around to form houses they can use. Why not come with family to load the windows and the doors? Perhaps some trim, and even floors, to build in an hour or two of loading stuff into trailers to take with you?

THIS WILL BE THE BIGGEST SALE THAT ANYONE WILL EVER DO, WHERE YOU CAN BUY ALL AMERICAN-MADE AND KNOW IT WILL LAST AS LONG AS YOU.

For appointments or more information, email Bwk@tinytexashouses.com or Darbypsl@gmail.com.

May 9th-10th for preview and windows and doors by the hundreds, plus sets with enough to build more than 60 houses if you choose to use salvage. Come prepared to work with gloves and know there will be dust about. Prepare to see what few ever do and know it will soon all be gone, so now is the time to choose.

What are you seeking to build a home, two bedrooms, like the thirties or the later years, shown in the catalogs of the times that were known for the 100,000 houses that they sent nearly all around. If you had a railroad near your town, I would bet these models can be found, and if you want to remodel one and put back in the original windows and doors, come for more. We got it.

Entire sets for a house are stacked and have not moved or been ransacked. They are dry and could be glazed and painted to last for a lifetime without plastics drying out and breaking. This is what has lasted for centuries: youโ€™ll see if you take care of them, and you find they will take care of you.

You will even find some new old stock in the windows and the trim. There are lots of things you will not find, I know, much without paint and ready to roll. Those who come first see the most and get the chance to skim the cream, perhaps a toast to the early bird who gets the worm, but please, then share and boast. It will be the best buys of your life and perhaps what you need at last. For a few thousand dollars, you might find all you need to put between the studs to create the coolest house that anyone has seen. Why not?

Some ask why I am finally cutting the rope to this anchor, and I can only say that what I found at 70, #Youthing meant I had to stay away from stress like the 80-hour weeks it took to stash all of this stuff. Decades pass, and then Wii learn to value what Wii have, our body, Spirit, mind, all healthy has become my goal, you see. I found something I never knew, and thus I want to give you a path to follow if you wish to see the future that so many will see once they change their views. I hope this will help others get the parts they need to build healthy homes and a tight-knit community that comes from people caring about their unity.

Our Chi, Prana, Energy of Spirit that flows through us is more important than what some people sell it for, life-force indebted and thus bound by the rules of the Matrix. I choose to check out of that game of merchants and taxes, employees, and rules.

Wii are One in motion, and I want to help bring the inspiration and the notion that you can build a house for nearly free if the local Salvage Outpost provides the help that comes for free. I have stashed and saved these parts for a day when some of Darby’s dreams come into play.

Please share the story, just a fantasy of what could happen if Wii all agree to help. Pure Salvage Outposts as local co-ops, I think, will be the path to new equality in the way Wii live most in homes these days. Yes, a unique set of words, but the meaning goes beyond the normal to create solutions all around.
