At 65 there comes a time when pretending does not work. Lets be real, act right, Truth out my friends.
I have not worn a watch in years, in part to phones having clocks if I want to know the time, but thank God I do not really need to know often, once or twice a day when it can not be found by looking into the sky. Most of my life I wore a watch and saw myself getting older.

Then I took it off and watched myself get younger when I forgot about time and focused on my passions, my desire to create things without time constraints, and lo and behold, I found happiness does not know a watch exists… or at least does not wish to be measured, limited, or rushed by the time on a mechanical handcuff.

A little here, a bit more there, a spindle or two, a corbel pair, all rare and salvaged, some a century and a half since they came off the buildings or houses that they adorned for a century before they were salvaged.
The trees, such as the Redwoods that formed the blue posts, or the Cypress trees that formed the spindles, corbel, or even the Long Leaf Pine trees that form the floor and much more were all trees that had lived for 800 years before the cut to form such beautiful things.
Here are some of the piles of wonderful woodcut from ancient trees long before electricity, in a day when tokens were given to workers in the lumber industry in Texas, never cash. Truly these knot-free slices of trees that were 135 feet tall, Long Leaf Pine being the hardest, most resistant to rot, strongest, and most resistant to bugs of all the 77 species of Pine in America. To bad, we cut all the mature stock down by the 1940’s and none is due to mature for cutting for another few hundred years. If you want to have it, use it, preserve it, salvage is the only way.I do have a hundred thousand square foot of warehouses full of stock and now that wood has quintupled in value, you can buy good wood at my prices for nearly the same as crappy big box store wood. Why not build a smaller quality wood house instead of a bigger shitrock and vinyl house?
Why do people not want to create with such incredible things as salvage brings into the creative fold for building houses, cottages, and homes for those who roam? It is not the size nor the neighborhood that truly makes a hOMe, it is the place where the heart can rest, dreams flourish with your family best, and love will last to pass the test to be rewarded, thus be blessed. Keep the faith, take action instead of being paralyzed by fear when the stress of change is coming near.

Brrrr. It has gotten cold here a couple times now… starting to feel like winter in many parts of Salvage, Tx, but some are still immune to the freezes. Thermal storage in various banks now, mounds of dirt, canyons 25′ deep, wind deflecting and holding mists of water from the vast pond system that feeds the roots now, keeping the land warmer from underneath as well.

If our planet can get out of the We versus Them mentality, the separation that makes wars palatable based on religious or moral edicts that are dictated by those in power, not necessarily by the masses. Times are changing and the world will be much different in the new year than ever in modern times. For many it will be the end of the world they want to live in and thus, they will leave life willingly, but others will take on the challenges of the new world with a thrill and desire to make the world better after the tragic end of what is was is fully realized.
Some will spy the ship through the mists as it lands to drop off gifts of dreams that can be fulfilled.
When I was young, crippled, poor, and without the guidance or inspiration to believe I could do such things, I would have called you insane to suggest this would be my life. When I was intent on suicide and no one was there to stop my but my own inability to succeed, I had no idea where this life would lead. Now I can not imagine limitations for miracles are truly possible and I have lived them so as to know without a doubt… there is a Ship of Salvaged Dreams beyond the haze, the mists of Avalon.

For some it takes a lifetime to bridge the gap between wanting, becoming, and Being all you want to Be, before you leave this Earthly life. Time, the flood of minutes that seems infinite when a child and so finite after the retirement age when people are supposed to wither and disappear. Ha!
I prefer the growing back to being younger in mind, body, and goals. This week I am playing with some things from around the warehouses, mothballed for a few years now, but still incredibly full of stuff to work with, an arch, door, floor, or more just waiting to become something new.
It is not a business that just anyone would want to do… creating housing out of the salvaged materials from past houses, barns, stores, and structures first assembled a century or more in the past. It takes a creative spirit that enjoys taking dissimilar objects from many houses to create one that will be unique, artistic, and last for a lifetime if one takes care of it. When you create a special Art House that is unlike any other, people will take better care of it, as if a giant jewelry box with the greatest of all treasures inside, Peace and Privacy, safety from the storms.
How would you get into the business of building tiny organic cottages if you are not able to go out and buy the doors, windows, flooring, siding, interior skins for the ceiling, walls, bathroom? If you were fortunate and have the cash to go and buy all the materials and then build a house in hopes of living in it or selling it, that will take a good chunk of cash out of your bank account or add a big chunk to your credit cards. There is another way to get started though, for some it could mean partnering up with someone who has a bit of carpentry knowledge, perhaps an old-time carpenter who is wise but arthritic and thus can share experience and advice, the two things most kids do not have to get started.
If you have a place, like a barn or building to create inside of, all the better so you can take a bit of time to build the outside framework and skins, install the windows, and roll it outside to finish while you start another inside. If done right, with helpers who might also then become homeowners when they get the hang of building, get the materials they will need through bartering their help working for windows, doors, and other parts they can not find or afford in the big box stores. Micro-financing the items would make it even easier as most are a bit tight on money in 2020.

To that end, an easy means to finance the bulk of the cost of materials for honest people to build a tiny organic cottage from vintage materials, toxin and import free, all American like me. Gratitude for what you have, but if you can not see the opportunity at your fingertips and you miss it, the lack of perspicuity is your problem not the lack of opportunity if you could just see it, take action, and aim for the stars. Then, with passion ignited, nothing can stop you.
We now know the environment, diet, exercise, and attitude are what determine if life is Heaven or Hell for those who suffer from failing to properly care for their vessel, the body that houses their soul. We can make a big difference on our health by removing as much stress as possible, like big payments, utility bills, taxes, and other distractions from being happy. Why not simplify and thrive instead? Be healthy and get younger instead.
Some do not believe in such things but still need housing and an appreciation for the work done by our ancestors to create these treasured stockpiles of incredible resources disguised as derelict buildings, houses, and in need of dismantling so that the parts can be reused to create hOMes. Please consider helping get a young person impassioned with what they could to do to change the world, one house at a time for the millions who will need them as the society transitions from abundance to scarcity for many. More children now live with their parents after reaching adult age than in the Great Depression and it is not getting better soon. Please consider how we can grow this trend in a positive manner and allow for the re-consolidation of family and the creation of new tiny communities for those who have no family to fall back to for help, no support network left but able to help create one that all who participate can benefit from too.
Appraising the wood, the houses, the possible treasures can be done by house inspectors or old guys like me who can see it all on your cell phone from afar and consult without driving into that nasty cold weather you are having up north. Consultation building, designing, and moving can also all be done with the wonders of instant video and pictures in everyone’s smart phone these days so that you can find out if the termites, wood bores, toxic contamination from asbestos, chemicals, or pesticides should stop you from taking a place down.
This can now be done and the micro-financing to help you get started building where you are instead of here is now in place to pay for the most important materials. You would still need some skin in the game by purchasing you own screws, nails, wiring, insulation, house wrap, roof underlayment, but little else if you choose to join and be part of the Pure Salvage Outpost network that will ensure you have a mentor when it looks like you hit a stopping point, a frustration that makes you want to burn the project down, or the people that may cause the same reaction. What are you waiting for during these perilous Covid fear and restriction filled days of freedom and democracy in America? Our world stands at the edge of the “Chasm at the Fringe”, the point at which Wii make the leap of faith to reach the far side or fall into the abyss of fear and self-destruction that craggy rocks below insure for those who fail to leap, to fly, to do or die.
Are you prepared for surprises, events that were not projected by the weather or news channels on TV? Are you hiding from the pandemic that seems to ebb and flow based on political situations in the world? Are you spiritually prepared with faith and the strength of Truth to fuel you?
When in the position of being a Warrior or a victim, which will you choose and do you wait until the last minute to prepare if you are a Warrior? No, instead there are many things to prepare for and plan as the future is truly going to be different than any sort of past we have known in America. From the economy to the politics of the election, the repercussions based on which side wins the battle for Truth in Voting, recognizing the individuals over the global corporations that want to control the masses, and the people who wish to be controlled as well as control others, who of course do not wish to be controlled… just live a happy healthy family life with God, family, country, and career all sewn together nicely into a peaceful package we can call our country and be proud of. Better still, the global freedom that will follow when truthful elections can happen instead of the rigged versions that have let the worst of leaders run the masses for far too long.
Oddly, thanks to the internet as a means of communication, many autistic kids are able to hyper-focus, research, and dig without distraction to find the facts, the trails, statistical anomalies, and successfully track down details like no other generation ever. The gift for some is can be ignited by their passion though some have viewed their uniqueness as a defect, for many, it is actually an asset when they are given a passion, purpose, and direction. It may well be many of what some consider the idiot savants who few understand will do things no others can do, and the results will free the masses as other White Hats in the battle for Truth use them to expose the Liars, thieves, and evil-doers that have been hidden for two centuries or more from the public eye and scrutiny. Not possible any longer thanks to technology being used against them as they have used it against the people to falsify elections, control through meds, and worse.
Is it possible to change the way the world thinks about our power as individuals? Is it possible for a “World of United Beings” (WUB) to work toward peace instead of war, profiteering, and the worst of human characteristic being rewarded instead of the best? Can WUB succeed in bringing about the changes through communication, imagination, and peaceful negotiation? Wii can do better together but the leaders that stopped that for their own benefit must be eliminated and leaders with philanthropic intentions replace them for a few centuries at least. Alas, will that cycle come to pass? I believe so, but not without some pain.
Can humans salvage the world of people without eliminating 6 billion people as some suggest the elite would like to do? Will humans overpopulate and destroy the resources needed to keep us all healthy and happy? Big questions that are being played out as we speak of the subject by a small cluster of people who do not necessarily have the masses in mind but the minimum population in mind instead. Hard to imagine, but not if you imagine being one of the elite left behind with a bunch of helpless servants to take care of your every need. Pity that is not possible and certainly not in the plan book that I came to help work on during my lifetime.
I came to salvage the best of the past, the treasures our ancestors left for us to steward into a new millennium when Wii can conserve our resources, care for the people, planet, and all beings on it rather than focus on 1%. It is possible and with the help of other Beings that are far more advanced than the average human, Wii can join with them to explore the farther reaches of our Cosmos, but Wii must agree to join in Peace and not set off to war and conquer where Mankind might visit as has been the case so many times in the last few thousand years. Is Humanity capable of this next step?
Some of us think the answer is yes. Wii incarnated with an intention and purpose, to come and prepare and help in this transitional period on Earth when life is the most exciting it has been in ages and what comes of this great challenge and battles will determine the future of much more than the humans understand that are part of the bigger play going on the Cosmic Stage. God, as many will call the source of the energy that gives impetus to all that Wii experience and call life, is expanding the thought of us and will soon transform the reality Wii experience. Salvage what you want of the past that is good, and carry the memories with you as you go forward, Enlightened by shedding the things that have no real value and holding tight to the less obvious but more powerful forces of Love, manifestation through imagination, and positive creations that will lead to a new period of prosperity that includes all the players on the planet instead of just a few.
Begin by building a sustainable body, home, and community that hinges on healthy foods, exercise that honors the vessel, and thus will come a peacefulness within and clarity that enable people to do what some consider miracles. Build a tiny home to rest in and spend your life hours doing things, taking action, and making the world a better place for others and yourself rather than expect others to serve you. Happiness comes from giving service, occasionally being serviced, and sharing the benefits of success by empowering others to find it too rather than taking advantage of them in their ignorance.
Save the best of the past while knowing the future will never be a repeat but an upgrade if Wii focus on making it better every day instead of throwing away the past as if it is trash. Honor the ancestors and those who follow by not wasting the efforts, work, and dreams of those who created the wonderful world of possibilities that await us as Wii address global challenges together with internet communication that could spread solutions to all instantly and the actions taken by humanity could then bring about an abundance, revitalization, and ample resources for all to live well. To get there many will specialize in areas that once combined, the benefits to all of us from the focused work of those with passion and community support, not greedy corporations, life for all people on the planet will be better.
The Pure Salvage Living Renaissance is growing and people around the world are realizing the value of Wisdom from the elders, the ingenuity and creativity of younger children who, given the chance as Beings coming back into physical form as Spirits with something to offer, not empty packages of flesh that can be used, abused, and neglected. Treat each child like the gift to our planet that they are. Each could be the child that solves the biggest problems our world may face… the engineer, prophet, or doctor that helps millions can be born to the poorest or the richest of families… so do not deny either the chance to excel.
